Carousel

The famous old-fashion Carousel in Central Park is a hidden treasure for children of all ages. This current carousel has been in central park since 1951, but has been restored since then.  The first original carousel was placed in central park in 1871.  The next two Carousels were destroyed by fire in 1924 and in 1950.

Details: $2 for a 3 and a half minute ride.
Open daily April–November, 10:00am-6:00pm, weather permitting.
Open weekends November-April 10:00am-4:30pm, weather permitting.
