Cedar Hill is a picturesque pastoral meadow where you can have a picnic, sunbathe, people watch, or just sit under a tree and do some reading. The name comes from the red cedars on the hill, but there are other varieties of evergreen on the crest as well. During the wintertime Cedar Hill is one of the best places to go sledding, but Pilgrim Hill takes first place, since it has the steeper slope in the park. The Glade Arch bridge is also located at the bottom of the hill connecting to the lower part of the park.
Cedar Hill is a picturesque little area on the Upper East side of Central Park.
A preferred area for dog owners who meet during off leash hours in Central Park.
A great place to bring your friends and have a picnic.
East Side from 76th to 79th Streets at Fifth Ave.
