Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most incredible landmarks in all of New York. The Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River.  It was built between 1869 and 1883 – its 5,989 feet long, about 1.13 miles. Due to its two masonry towers standing 276 feet tall, they were at that time making some of tallest landmarks in New York.  In 1964, the Brooklyn Bridge had become an official National Monument.  The pedestrian path has views of the downtown Manhattan skyline which attracts millions of visitors each year. New Yorker’s and visitors can walk, bike, run or drive across the Brooklyn Bridge. This magnificent bridge offers something for everyone and it’s a must see for those in New York.  Nearby Tourist AttractionsLower Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and DUMBO.
