Brooklyn Bridge Park
Brooklyn Bridge Park offers one of the most beautiful sights in the urban areas of the US, with breath-taking views of the Manhattan skyline, waterfront and bridges. It also has amazing sunsets with shades of orange-pink over New York City. The park has a playground for kids, Jane’s Carousel, Brooklyn’s Ice Cream Factory, and much more, which will be covered more in detail during the autumn season. The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy presents free outdoor movies (Movies with a View), yoga, kayaking and lots of other free activities during the summer and all year round. While the weather is still nice New Yorkers and visitors can soak up some sun, have a picnic, plenty of benches for reading, dog-friendly, play frisbee or people watch. Steps away from the Empire Fulton Ferry Park is the DUMBO neighborhood with great restaurants, art galleries, cafes, shops and a short walk off of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The park will be an 85-acre park when completed, some areas are currently under construction on the Brooklyn waterfront.
Location: Brooklyn Bridge Park, Old Fulton Street.
