Duffy Square is in Times Square located between 45th and 47th Streets, Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The square offers New Yorkers and visitors a place to sit and relax and take in the view of Time Square. The red steps happens to be the roof of the TKTS ticket booth, which is located behind the statue of Chaplain Francis P. Duffy, dedicated by Mayor Fiorello LaGuardia on May 2, 1937. Nearby Tourist Attractions: Times Square Visitors Center, Theatre District, Official New York Visitor Center (NYCGO), Toys R Us Times Square, M&M’s World Times Square, HERSHEY’S Times Square, Mars 2112, Duffy Square , TKTS ticket booth, ABC’s Studios (where Good Morning America is broadcast live) and famous Carmine’s Italian Restaurant.
