Washington Square Park
Washington Square Park is in the heart of Greenwich Village – the area is filled with writers, film makers, artists, NYU students, musicians, chess players, and skateboarders. A lively place to watch street performers, people watch, take photos or a great meeting spot. It has two playground for kids, plenty of grass space, a dog run, and a fountain in the center of the park. The park has had a long history for political and cultural gatherings to be expressed and sometimes hashed out. A lot of recent and current renovations have been going on. If you are a fan of culture and the arts, you are going to love Washington Square Park…
