The Mall

The Mall is the most beautiful area of Central Park, as well as the most active gathering place for New York residents and tourists alike. The surrounding area of the Mall offers breath taking views of rows of American Elm trees and benches along side of the pathway.  This area is filled with street performers, skate boarders, rollerbladers, portrait painters, and lots of adorable dogs.  The Naumburg Bandshell is located within the Mall, concerts are held here throughout the year.  The Literary Walk is on the South end side and Bethesda Terrace is on the North end side of the Mall.  Many major motion productions have featured The Mall area in their Movie.  The Mall offers spectacular views during the Autumn Season when the bright green leaves begins fading away and we see yellow and orange colors everywhere. Nearby Tourist Attractions: Bethesda Terrace, Sheep Meadow, Conservatory Water, RambleBow BridgeCherry Hill, Lake, and the Loeb Boathouse.
