When weather permits, exercising at the Reservoir in Central Park is quite the experience. New Yorkers and Visitors, we are all in luck, aesthetically, Autumn is the best time of year to be in the park and to get cool weather like this is truly a gift. Head over to the Reservoir and walk or jog the 1.58 mile track surrounding a 106 acre body of water. If you think you have seen fall foliage, think again until you have seen this. The trees circling the water are showered with leaves with extraordinary colors right now. Additionally to the beautiful feel of nature, it also happens to give some of the best skyline views of the city. It feels very surreal when you spend time here, just incredible. This famous area is also known for its bird watching, you will find many different types of birds here if you observe long enough. The Reservoir is located between 86th street and 96th. In 1994, the Reservoir changed its name to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir.
