Sammy and Simba met at Washington Square Park for the Annual Washington Square Park Halloween Dog Parade. Washington Square Park is where 5th Avenue ends and the feel of the Village begins. This area is filled with artist, musicians, New York University students and professors. On the North side of the park is the famous Washington Memorial Arch, the fountain is located in the middle, and the south side is where you would find the two dog runs. Halloween Howl and Healthy Hound Fair

The annual Halloween Howl and Healthy Hound Fair will be held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 3:00PM, at Carl Schurz Park in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
