Brooklyn Bridge

Brooklyn Bridge is one of the most incredible landmarks in all of New York. The Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River.  It was built between 1869 and 1883 – its 5,989 feet long, about 1.13 miles. Due to its two masonry towers standing 276 feet tall, they were at that time making some of tallest landmarks in New York.  In 1964, the Brooklyn Bridge had become an official National Monument.  The pedestrian path has views of the downtown Manhattan skyline... Read More
