Copacabana, located near Times Square is one of New York City’s most famous night clubs.  Most Nightclubs in Manhattan come and go, but Copacabana has stood the test of time since it opened in January of 1941.  The club hosted many of the brightest in Hollywood and helped launch many careers.  Hollywood’s biggest performers actually performed here from Frank Sinatra to Sammy Davis jr, even The Supremes Debuted here.  The club when through so many changes through the years and stayed with the times.  During the 1970’s the club turned into a discotheque where Barry Manilow’s timeless song “Copacabana “reinvigorated the Copa.  Today, after 3 different location moves, Copacabana is a NYC institution where people still come to dance from so many different walks of life and cultures.

Dogs are not normally allowed at the Copacabana, but Sammy attended the 11th Annual Halloween Pet Costume hosted by Wendy Diamond.
